We are back from Hawaii...I will post some pictures later.
Now, on to what is really important. haha. So, last night not wanting our vacation to end, Cody and I went to Cafe Rio and the to see Indiana Jones. I was actually pretty excited to see it, since as a kid I was a big fan of the movies. I loved the Holy Grail and the Temple of Doom, they are such classics in my book. I get excited just thinking about them. I think I got the movie liking from my mom, I remember her being really into them.
Anyway, the movie turned out to be average...a little strange, but entertaining. There was however an interesting statement at the end of the movie, Hollywood has a way with words and getting my mind going. I guess that is why the get paid the big bucks. One of the characters said something to the effect of, "Most of life is lost in the waiting." Suggesting that we spend and waste so much time waiting on things instead of just acting.
Waiting for work to be over; waiting for money, a house, stability, friends, someone else to do their part. Instead of just acting we sit back and do nothing. Why is that? What has caused me and you (or maybe not you) to be this way? How can we change it?
I remember always being excited for the summer, but then when summer came complaining about the heat and not being able to wait for the winter. Or, always looking forward to being 16 so I could drive, then 18 so I was an adult, and 21 so I really had the privilege to do whatever I wanted. Now that I am almost 24 (IN 2 MORE DAYS) I complain about being old. I was/am never satisfied. I am always looking for my next big adventure, but losing the fun or intrigue in what I am doing right now.
All too often I lose all of the present in the waiting for something better to come along.
My awesome friend Taylor (thank you for all of the help in Hawaii by the way) always says that the world is our playground. I love that. I want that mentality. My new resolution is to lose no more time in the waiting, but to act now.
Thank you Indi and your fellow cast mates. You have enlightened my mind.

Wedding Dance FOR REAL
Okay, we finally got the wedding dance to work on youtube. It cuts off most of the beginning when they dance synchronized, but don't worry you still get to see Cody, Caleb, Jake, and even Travis near the end acting like...well, like themselves. I love it.

My Birthday
I would just like to remind everyone that my birthday is in two weeks and two days (June 1). I know what you are thinking, "How could I possibly forget the greatest day of the year Hanna?" but, as ridiculous as it sounds, people have before. Remember that birthday during the Jazz/Bulls playoffs a few years ago Mom? Not cool. haha.
Anyway, happy birthday to me.

Sudoku
I am addicted to sudoku....but not as much as Cody. It is the only way I like to spend my breaks at work (well, that and youtube). If you ever have an inkling to try it out, go to sudoku.com. They have a daily challenge that drives me up the wall, but is incredible at the same time. I love the being that came up with this game. Thank you.

Twilight
Okay...So I read the first, second, and part of the third book in the Twilight series. I thought they were decent. I did, however, get so bored in the third that I stopped reading and gave it to my mother in law. The only reason I even got that far was because so many people raved about them and I was intrigued as to why. So after this disappointment in the books, I left them in the dust...that is until I saw the movie trailer. I must admit, the movie looks interesting. I want to see it.
Check it out for yourself...then tell me what you think.

My Shattered Window
This weekend we headed up to Idaho to spend Friday and Saturday with the Childers. It was one of the best weekends ever. Cody met me in Lehi, where I left my car, and we headed up to Preston together. We spent Saturday playing softball/baseball, bowling, playing Frisbee, and eating delicious pizza. Both Cody and I were so sore Sunday morning when we woke up. I felt like the oldest woman in the world. The worst part is, I still hurt.
Anyway, we got back Saturday night. I was too tired to get my car in Lehi, so we just left it and headed home instead. Then Sunday, after church and a nap, we headed to my mom's house for some dinner and a movie. It was fun. Holly and her family were there, along with Andrew...although he always takes off in the middle of everything.
When I left my moms house, I had to go pick up my car at my sister's. Cody dropped me off and as I walked up to my car I noticed a bunch of glass on the road beside it. I looked around and noticed that someone had smashed in my driver's side window. Gosh dang it...and of course the insurance I have doesn't cover it. They didn't steal anything because, well, there is nothing to steal. All I had were some CDs on and under the front seat that went untouched. My guess is because the ones they could see on the seat were all church CDs. haha. They were either really stupid and picked a bad car to break into, or they were just out to do some vandalism. No matter the reason, it wasn't the greatest thing that could have happened, but it was sure an eventful way to end the weekend.
If I get some pictures later, I'll post them up.

Whoops!
Sorry guys. I had intended to post a few pictures, but they are all saved on the computer at home, and, well, I am at work. By the time I get home I want to be away from the computer. Although, I do find myself compulsively checking my email. It is a sick habit that I have...especially since all I usually get is junk.
Anyway, I plan on doing that as soon as I feel like it. We have a few cool pictures.
We started out our trip flying to Long Beach. we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and spend 3 days going back and forth from Disneyland, to the pool, to California Adventure. I would have to say that our favorite ride was the Tower of Terror. It was the only one we went on more than once. Also, at night as we were headed back to our hotel we would stop in this little plaza of stores and listen to some guys play the drums and guitar. It was nice just to sit and listen. It helps you unwind from the day. Cody even got one of their CDs. They do a nice rendition of Hotel California, which is a classic in my book.
After that little trip was over, we flew home for a day, only to get back on a flight and head for DC. We left at 4:30 Monday afternoon and didn't arrive at our hotel until about 8 a.m. Tuesday. It was a long journey...very uncomfortable. Our first day in DC we spent driving around with one of our former mission buddies Cameron. We visited some people that I knew and some that Cody knew. I think we stopped at two houses each. It was awesome to catch up with people. Although we stopped at a family that I taught (they are all members now), right as well pulled up the husband did too. I asked him where his wife and kids were and he said that I had just missed them. They had left an hour ago. I asked when they would come back and he said, "They are not coming back. She left me." Whoops. Talk about bad timing.
The second day in DC we mainly slept...then headed to a Nationals game at their new stadium. They played the Braves, which I was excited about. But the Braves lost, which I was not excited about.
Our last day there (is this boring?) we had breakfast with our mission president and his wife, which consisted of us driving around, finding nothing, then getting food at a grocery store and eating in the car. It was great. After that we walked around the DC Mall looking at all the monuments, met up with some folks (We love the Dixon family), ate lunch, then headed to the airport. It was fun, exciting, tiring, and great.
Don't be too jealous. haha.

We're Back
...and better than ever.
The trip was awesome. Some day soon, probably tomorrow, I'll write down our adventures and post some pictures. In one week we flew from Utah to California, back to Utah, back to California, to Virginia/DC, then one more time back to Salt Lake; arriving home last night around 2 a.m. It was intense.
